YELLOX is our SPAX innovation when it comes to corrosion protection, which not only benefits you as the user, but also the environment. Unlike the conventional yellow or blue zinc-plated screws, YELLOX ist chromium(VI)-free and is therefore much better for humankind and nature alike. They are also just as resistant to corrosion as their conventional zinc-plated counterparts with the same surface thickness. However, their use is limited to indoor areas. As the name suggests, YELLOX-coated screws also have a yellowish appearance. What this means for you: You can fasten with YELLOX screws indoors without hesitation – harmful chromium(VI) and corrosion are a thing of the past.

• YELLOX achieves corrosion protection that is more than 6 times greater than that offered by blue zinc plating at the same surface thickness (layer thickness of 4–6 µm with artificial atmospheric corrosion).
